How to start

Once you have joined Parmiss Airline, you can start flying and earn virtual money.
After accepting your application, You are able to start your first flight by following steps below :

Download and install the newest version of the FS Airlines client.

Download and install the FSUIPC (Flight Simulator Universal Inter-Process Communicator).

Book a flight {using the "Book Flight" link in the "Dispatch Office" section of the Parmiss Airlines website}.

Start Flight Simulator.

Put the aircraft on the ground at the departure airport [at a gate or parking area] with the parking brakes activated.

Alt-tab out of Flight Simulator and start the FSAirlines client. (A shortcut to it on your desktop is probably a good idea.)

Login to the FSAirlines client.

Click on "Options", select the "Use standard fueling method" and then any other options you prefer.

Click on "Flight Information" and check that all the details shown are correct.

Click on "Fly!".

Load an appropriate amount of fuel.

Click on "Fly now". The client should show some stats about where you are, speed, etc.

Go back into Flight Simulator.

Power up your engines.

Release the parking brakes.

When you taxi past 5 nm [per hour] GROUND speed, you'll see a message scroll across the screen. That's the client acknowledging that you are moving and that your flight status has changed from boarding to taxi. Taxi below 20 knots GROUNDspeed. Speeds in excess of that will add a penalty to your permanent flight record.

When you are on the runway, TURN ON YOUR LANDING LIGHTS. If you are ever within 1000 ft of the ground (by radar altimeter, not barometric) and your lights are off, a penalty will be added to your permanent flight record.

Take off. You'll hear a beep when you leave the runway. (You may exceed 20 knots provided you lift off within 50 seconds of exceeding it.) Climb and not exceed 250 knots INDICATED airspeed at any time BELOW 10,000 ft barometric, otherwise a penalty will be added to your permanent flight record. Turn off your landing lights BEFORE you exceed 10,000 ft barometric, otherwise, yes, you'll be given a penalty.

Fly the route.

On the descent, the same rules as those for take-off above apply: 250 knots MAXIMUM below 10,000 ft; landing lights off above 10,000 ft barometric but on before 1,000 ft radar altitude -- even in the daytime.

Land. You should hear a beep after touchdown. You have one minute after touchdown to reduce your speed below 20 kts GROUNDspeed.

Taxi to the parking stand, staying under 20 knots.

Turn off the engines and engage the parking brake.

Alt-tab out of Flight Simulator in order to view the flight report, click "End flight" and then pass through the flight report until you return to the main screen of the FSAirlines client. You can now exit the client.
Close Flight Simulator.

(Hint: Should you incur a penalty, it'll be announced via text by your copilot. Don't worry if you do -- apart from crashing the plane or landing at the wrong airport, they aren't a big deal. If you do land at the wrong airport or crash the plane, your virtual airline's reputation will suffer!)
